So much on the horizon…

The world awaits the IPhone 5 … at least my teenage son does, with hope in his heart. Meanwhile, we can only guess at the wonderful range of accessories by re-examining the ones that exist now! The iPhone

The iPhone name has been employed for numerous products, but is best called the smartphone line released in 2007 by Cupertino, California-based Apple Incorporated .

 Apple’s iPhone promoted the utilization of touchscreens as a first interface for a cellphone. Outside the aspects standard in most smartphones like Net connectivity and messaging, the iPhone’s features can be split into 3 main groups : hardware, media, and applications. The iPhone’s hardware has been one of its largest draws. Based around touchscreen technology, the iPhone doesn’t have a keypad, as an alternative a virtual keyboard and keypad are shown on the touchscreen when needed. The removal of the physical keypad lets the iPhone’s screen be much bigger than that of similar-sized cell telephones. An accelerometer permits the iPhone to react and change its screen display dependent on if it is being viewed horizontally or vertically. The telephone additionally has an internal flash drive to store info. Other hardware features include a digicam, background light sensor, vicinity sensor, speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, and, in later models, A-GPS.
